At Engage Fitness and Training Center, your child will become stronger, faster, more agile, be less prone to injury, develop focus, balance, and have better control. Most importantly, they will have a strong base, and have much higher potential to becoming a great athlete, whether that be in sports, or for recreational activities.
Our skilled trainers understand that the human body best reacts to many different forms of stimuli. All classes are unique. The core of our system is based in strength, core strength, agility, quickness, power, balance, body control, plyometrics, stability, functional strength, flexibility, and neuromuscular efficiency.
A typical class could include a number of things. Strength training has exercises such as pushups, pull ups, squats, and lunges. Core stability includes planks, side planks, and Davies drills. Core strength training is generally sit ups, leg lifts, crunches, flutter kicks, and all their variations. Agility training consists of agility ladder drills, step drills and hurdle drills. Power training is based on running mechanics, and overall explosiveness. Things like the pro shuttle, shuffles, carioca, backpedal, sprints, and all medicine ball drills.
Most importantly, we train in all the elements necessary for a balanced and versatile athlete. Our Youth Speed School is a highly effective, controlled, fun, and safe environment. Our students love class, have a great time, and get results.
